I'm Carrie Smith, sole proprietor of Carrie Smith Design hair salon in Fort Plain, New York. As of this year, I have 20 years in the business. Not only am I a hair stylist, but I'm a proud wife and mother. My husband Curtis and my children, Estee, Silas, Jaymes Casidee and our adored dog Lou are my world and my main drive in my pursuit of success. I consider myself extremeIy  lucky to be able to be there for my business as well as my family. I have a small personable salon in the front half of my  home. The environment is modern with a family friendly feel.

 I specialize in all the new trends such as Balayage, Ombre, Babylights  and of course those pompadour's that every male being wants! lol! I tend to do all these services with my own "natural" perspective. If you have a pesky cowlick, I try to work with it , not against it. When coloring hair, I try to make all hair color custom and reminiscent to how your hair might be in childhood. My motto is less is more!
